Teacher with symptoms

Popsicales · 10/11/2020 16:50

What happens if a teacher develops symptoms and books a test? Does the bubble remain open until the best comes back? Then if the test comes back positive, the bubble has to close?

Or because the teacher has symptoms, does the bubble automatically close?

This is a primary class.

Thanks

Bubble closes if test is positive

Good, thank you. Fingers crossed that I test negative.

In think it’s depends on the school. At ours the class would be sent home until the teacher had received the test result.

One of the teacher in our school tested positive last week and the bubble closed. She is now in intensive care. She’s early 30s, slim and very very fit. It’s so scary sending the children in.

I think it really depends on how responsible the school are being.

Hope they get the testing sorted out soon!

🤞🏼You're negative!

Primary or secondary?

Primary - bubbles closes
Secondary no as we can maintain the magic 2m ... apparently.

@Ijustcantcope that's terrifying. Poor lady. I'm 31 weeks pregnant and still working. I was fine until more cases started popping up recently in the village I work in. None in school so far, but I'm feeling a bit anxious. Just trying to carry on as best I can though.
