Would you get a test?

Felt a bit crappy at the weekend. Yesterday woke to a headache I can't shift, achy limbs and going hot and cold and nausea and fatigue. No temp, no cough. Had a rubbish nights sleep and I'm the same today.
I only started my new job 3 weeks ago.
I know I have no symptoms as such but the headaches/fatigue are a well known one?

Sorry to hear you’re not feeling well. I had exactly the same symptoms yesterday afternoon on my first day of self-isolation having been in contact with a positive case. Lying in bed now feeling awful, aches everywhere, throbbing headache but only occasional throat clearing rather than a full cough.

I managed to get a test last night on the basis that I was having intermittent temperature spikes. It’s difficult if you’ve just started a new job but best to be safe I think?

I would get a test on the basis of feeling hot and cold so temperature is surely up and down.
