So my youngest son has to isolate due to a case in his school bubble, my other children carry on as normal unless he develops symptoms - how does this work with his dads time? Can he still go to his dads with the others or should he not?

Since isolation means literally not leaving the house he has to stay with you until his isolation is over.

Racoonworld · 09/11/2020 14:46

No he needs to stay at one house to isolate

StatisticalSense · 09/11/2020 15:25

No. He should remain at one house, and as much as possible he should be remaining in one room and having as little contact with the rest of the household as physically possible.

Does anyone have a link to the guidance on this please?

Dontlickthetrolley · 09/11/2020 15:47

That's not true, he can still move backwards and forwards between houses but not go out. And definitely doesn't have to isolate from other family members if he is not displaying symptoms. This is a screen shot from a solicitor, the link was from a thread on here, so if you search around you should find the original link (about 3 weeks ago)
