What can I eat?

Anyone whos had coronavirus, do you have any tips what might be edible while everything tastes disgusting? I've tried toast, cereal, hobnobs and tea, all foul and couldn't manage more than a mouthful. I'm pregnant and breastfeeding so I need to get something down. Apple juice tastes okay so I'm drinking that in gallons. TIA

Maybe try something like Ensure?

Are you sure its not pregnancy that's making your taste off? When pregnant I lived on chips crisps and chocolate cos everything made me feel sick and when I had covid I lost my taste completely for about 10 weeks

Maybe try different flavours of soup to test what works best for you? At least it's nutritious and cheap if you can't finish it and have to chuck it out.

I lost my smell and taste, tested negative for CV but I'm not convinced...anyway 6 weeks on and it's not back to normal yet.

Stodge - toast and butter, tinned tomato soup, sausage and mash, oven chips.

Bland is better as its not meant to taste of much in the first place. I still can't drink coffee and I had a serious coffee habit.

@QueenStromba and @irkedessex I can't stand milkshakes or soup at the best of times, thank you though.

@greenphonegirl cant see my sense of taste completely changing overnight at 22w - I had a bit of morning sickness at the start where I lived off almonds and ginger biscuits but this is completely different, even water tastes off and I've never had anything like this in previous pregnancies

@helloxhristmas thanks I will try some chips when I can rustle up the energy. I wouldnt mind so much if things tasted of nothing but everything tastes foul - thought the milk was off in my tea but its just me
