Have laryngitis and now a dry cough, self isolate?

I really don't have any other symptoms but started with a sore throat on Thursday/Friday. I think it's just the natural evolution of whatever I've got. The NHS website is not very helpful as it's saying I should self isolate full stop (but there's nothing about symptoms starting as a sore throat).

I have had a really sore throat and headache all week and nose started running on Thursday, so have not got a test as have none of the symptoms (on the list, before people start yelling, I know everyone knows someone who started with a runny nose). As you have a cough, I would say you probably have to test.

I've literally only had the sore throat and reflux type thing. No runny nose, maybe a bit of of an earache. We're a massive blended family so not ideal.

A cough is a symptom and enough to get a test and there seems to be plenty at the moment. So get a test unless you and all you live with can isolate for 14 days.

Yes new cough, you need to isolate and test.

If you have a new continuous cough you and your household need to isolate and you need a test.

So a cough that's started in the last 7 days, coughing a lot for an hour or for 3 episodes in 24 hours.

Well I've ordered one so I'll know in like 5 days or so. I'm sure it's just laryngitis anyways.
