Isolation times

I tested positive friday so family have to isolate for 14 days. But then DH tested positive today does he now only isolate for 10 days? Also now because he's listed me as a contact via test and trace they sent a message saying isolate for 14days but I'm already positive so do I just do my 10 days. Its so confusing.

You isolate for your 10 days
He isolates for his 10 days
The 14 days would be if you didn't have symptoms as thats the incubation period

If there is anyone else in your family they isolate for 14 days from last contact with you. If they go on to test positive then they also isolate for another 10 days
