Thoughts on nursery...

What is everyone's thoughts on children returning to nursery.. my DD nursery closed after around 10 staff/children tested positive before half term. They are planning to reopen and have given my DD option to start back again she will be 4 on December 1st and her 7 year old brother is going back to school after we have finished isolating as they both tested positive for covid. What's your views on going back what would you do?

My daughter went back to preschool as soon as she was able to.
If both your kids have had covid and recovered, what are you worried about? They wont get it again any time soon.

Because if they come into contact with someone else positive then they have to isolate again for 2 weeks. My son had to then caught covid from his sister who was still attending nursery and they've had to do another two weeks x

None of us were going anywhere other than to drop my DD at nursery my 7 year old was already isolating after coming into contact with his teacher who was positive..we are presuming due to the amount of cases at nursery she's brought it back with her as they both tested positive...my test was negative at the same time although I had a cough.

It's important for child development to have contact with a range of people including their peers.
Children need children.

Yes. Both my sons school teacher and my daughters nursery teacher tested pos along with other children in the classss.
