Tested positive for covid 3 weeks ago. Had it very mild but since I have had palpitations and just walking up the stairs can make my heart race. Its starting to really worry me

My 18 year old son caught Covid end of March, he was pretty sick with it and in bed for 13 days. He complained of palpitations and one night i sat up with him for a couple of hours. He did speak to GP who called him in for an ECG which was normal, but because he had Kawasaki disease as a toddler GP suggested he is referred back to cardiology just for a check up.

Yes. Since March and I never had it before. ECG normal, heart sounds normal, blood test for heart failure normal.

Ideally, I would like a trans thoracic echo (jelly scan for the heart) to see if there is any structural defects.
