Can you still get a massage?

My local massage salon (not sure what to call them but they do massages but also reki, acupuncture, ‘energy field healing’, reflexology and other alternative treatments) say they are open again now for some limited treatments for health and well-being reasons. Obviously this is “alternative” medical help so not sure if it’s recognised in guidelines....anyone aware of whether these services can still run?

My physio is allowed to stay open but im not sure about non health professionals that do massage. I would doubt they should be open given they're more closely linked to a beauty salon

The guidelines for therapists are they need to be level 4 or 5. The massage needs to be for a documented health need- not spa type. so needs to be for rehab or mental health. (So massage via a physio clinic should be fine.)

No mobile massage. And if the therapist works from home the patient can not go into living area. So needs a separate entrance or exit.

Hope that helps

Apparently my sports massage can go ahead, thank goodness. But that comes under health.
