I have heard of an 18 year old not wanting to live , a 22 year old wants to hang himself , a small business owner can't get out of bed due to depression is the lockdown worse than covid .. I also know if 2 people who committed suicide. I will probably get hounded for this but I am more scared of the mental health economy than this blasted virus

I’m not scared of the virus. I am fairly concerned about having some sort of medical system available if my child breaks a leg or my husband gets appendicitis or I have an ectopic pregnancy.... and therefore I am reluctantly convinced that in the very short term we need a second lockdown. I don’t really want large numbers of lorry drivers, refuse collectors, police, retail workers, farmers, food factory workers, water treatment plant workers etc off sick either, we rely on them too.

I totally agree OP but it's such a tough balance to be struck, It's something I'm really conflicted on. As equally I'm concerned about hospitals reaching capacity and the impact this has on admissions and treatment. That being said I'm not convinced the hospital's are full from what I hear...
