Hi!
Does anyone know how long ago you have to had contact with someone who tests positive to self isolate? ! Does that make sense? Someone I know has tested positive but didn’t add names to track and trace so those who saw him haven’t been contacted and told to self isolate, is there a cut off time for when you don’t have to self isolate? Like if you saw them over 2 weeks ago?! I can’t find anything anywhere.
Thanks

I should imagine once two weeks have passed it becomes pointless contacting them.

If you saw them, for the requisite length of time (15 minutes I think, or less depending on distance) either in the 48 hours before they started symptoms or after they started symptoms, you have to isolate until 14 days after that exposure. If you haven’t seen them in the last 14 days then no, you don’t have to isolate at this point.

Ok thank you! That makes sense
