Genuine question - can she? It is work for her and can’t be done remotely as requires touch.

There are 3 grades of Reiki and only the first is touch based.
Well, that isn't correct for starters...and they aren't grades, they are levels:

  1. Level 1
  2. Level 2
  3. Master

Thanks all. I’m going to her house on Monday.

So which level renders both charlatan practitioner and mark client magically immune to virus transmission?

I hear Trumps spiritual advisor might be looking for new clients. Maybe she does Zoom consultations? Grin

I didn;';t spot before my post the link above it - that sounds right to me

"Based on the advice we have received, we are writing to let you know that CNHC Registrants in England meet the definition of “other…health services, including services relating to mental health” contained in Section 47, Part 3 of the Schedule to The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) (No. 4) Regulations 2020 and can therefore continue to practise."

Even if someone is an utter con person or a cult some people feel better for going to see them (or indeed chatting to anyone) so it is probably a good thing the state is broadly interpreting what mental health services are. In fact some GPs put someone in the surgery to chat to old people because what they needed was someone to whom to talk and did just as well as had they had their weekly appointment with the doctor in their cases where the only thing wrong was being lonely.

As a doctor's daughter I know many of these things are a load of rubbish but placebo affect applies and as I am against all CV19 mandatory legislation anyway (although I obey it) the more we can continue as normal the better.
