Supermarket Queues

Please forgive my ignorance here. I've been wondering if "lockdown" = "supermarkets expecting queues to enter the store".

The other day there was a queue at my local Tesco metro. Sainsbury's and Asda have been letting people stroll in, as long as they are wearing a face mask, distancing, etc.

So from now, will supermarkets be required to make people queue to get in? Or will they have the freedom to judge and organise as they see fit?

I've just got back from Aldi.
No queuing,
It was great. Nice & chilled actually. With full shelves.

I queued at a big Tesco a couple of weeks ago for the first time in ages. They’d implemented a traffic light system, with green and red lights above the doors saying when to go in and when to wait.

Well, I went to Sainsbury's today and there was no queue Grin thank goodness. I really hope that people continue to observe the rules/guidelines/whatever so that I don't have to stand for half an hour in a bloody queue Halloween Angry
