Positive Covid result but no contact from test & trace?

Hi,

My other half got a positive Covid test result more than 2 weeks ago. He was ill enough to need to be assessed in hospital but is since doing better.

We have not received a single contact from test and trace. Obviously we all obeyed the rules around isolating the family etc. but I feel concerned that there may have been people he was in contact with that were never told.

There is apparently no way to contact test and trace directly as far as I can see. We have been trying for some days now! Anyone got any ideas?!

If it’s more than two weeks ago they won’t do anything now anyway - it’s a 14 day isolation period.

Oh, I know that they can't do anything now. I'm just wondering whether we're not the only people who haven't received contact - maybe there's some kind of a loophole which, if fixed, would help avoid this issue for people in the future.

All I seem to find online is people who have been incessantly called by them - can't find another example where no-one gets in touch at all ...

It’s well known that the system isn’t working well - I think they call something like 80% of positive cases and 60% of their contacts so thousands are being missed.

My daughter had positive test 4 days ago and not heard anything. She has the app and has told anyone she was in contact with so probably makes no difference but depressing that’s it’s unreliable...
