Does anyone know the numbers for today's deaths from Covid?

Unfortunately deaths are a lagging indicator so although the situation appears to be that cases are flattening deaths will continue to increase for a short period.

wondersun · 03/11/2020 21:33

Im not sure case numbers are flattening. Case numbers are low because of less tests. The positivity rate is around 8% - way too high to be confident in anything sadly.

@StatisticalSense

397. Unfortunately deaths are a lagging indicator so although the situation appears to be that cases are flattening deaths will continue to increase for a short period.
I’m not sure cases are flattening, the positivity rate is high and they are tested LOADS less today.

Terrible

France was over 850. Awful

MorrisZapp · 03/11/2020 23:05

Scotland's case numbers are levelling off, but deaths still slightly increasing. Hope we see falling numbers soon.

Cookerhood · 03/11/2020 23:06

It's not 397 in a day, many of these are from several days ago. Better to look at the rolling average (still going up :()
