I am not trying to find a loop hole I would just like to know if anyone has an answer to this question.
I have a family with dc in school, parent has a spouse with terminal cancer not end of life yet but it isn't going to be long.
Can we bubble? I don't think that we can and spouse with tc should in theory be shielding. But it feels very cold to say no sorry we can't see you when parent is in an incredibly stressful situation and has had their support removed.

No, sorry the person you bubble with has to be living alone. But if you feel your mother needs support, I would hope that it would be fine to visit.

You can meet for a socially distanced walk if parent just needs someone to talk to. Sounds hard.

Legally no you can't, morally.....well I'm sure these tough decisions are being made regardless. I'm really sorry you're in this position

You can visit other households to provide care or support, which this certainly would be.
