NHS app - Matched Key Count?

I downloaded the app a few weeks ago and didn’t think any more of it. I just looked in the exposure notifications on my phone and over the last week or so, by ‘matched key count’, it as had 1 or 2.
Any idea what this means? I haven’t had any notifications in the app.

It means you were near a person who tested positive but not for long enough or close enough to need to self isolate

It's in your phone (not in the app)

Go to your phone settings, and then use the search bar

Ah thanks, done that. Now to be extra dense! is the number obvious if there is one?

It’s next to the matched key count. Mine dropped down to 0 again but is now showing 5 matches. I haven’t been anywhere apart from work. Who knows what’s going on...

This is mine. Vast majority say 0 matches though. Do you have to click every one to check??

Thanks. I’m assuming I’ve just walked past people who have gone on to test positive, which is where the matches have come from.
