Does school teacher have access to weekly test? I know university offer their teaching staff who offer face to face lessons regular test, but I don't hear about school teachers.

I also think testing teachers would result in the unions kicking off and parents withdrawing D.C. This would not help us keep schools open.

I think this would be welcomed massively by the unions.
Parents would at least then be able to see realistically what is happening in schools.
I am guessing from all your previous posts that you would be against this as it would show the true picture of how much a problem keeping schools open without any mitigation actually is.

Hopefully we will soon begin to see the benefits of the herd immunity gained from schools and universities returning.

Rubbish , there is no such thing as herd immunity people are getting reinfected as poster has shown above.

T cell immunity certainly is a thing. A tiny number of people have been ‘reinfected’ out of millions. The vast majority of which will be false positives or dead remnants of virus.

I now know of 3 teachers now that are on their second reinfection and in two cases they are worse the second time around, probably because viral load was significantly lower in smaller lockdown classes than it is now. I don't suppose they care that they arepartof a "tiny number".
