Do we need to isolate

There has been a case of covid at dd school. Dd class does not have to isolate but her best friends class does. Dd has spent alot of time with best friend over the weekend and today the school gave the news about a covid case in best friends class.

Does my family now need to isolate because dd has been in close contact with bf who has been in the same class as a covid case?

DD will only have to isolate if her BF tests positive.

No. That’s about 2-3 steps a way from being considered a contract.
