Hoping for some quick answers. My daughter was complaining of chest pain at the weekend. I rang the doctors and waited all morning for a phone appointment. Spoke to the doctors who said it's a sign of Covid and get her tested.
Except I can't get her tested because according to the website she's not eligible. Tried to order a home one but can't seem to get one on there either.
So what? Just isolate for 14 days and hope it's not actually something else (I have my suspicions it's actually a chest infection) and really hope I don't have to rush her to hospital because it is Covid? Or should I just lie and say she has other symptoms just so she can get the test?

Yes if a doctor has said it could be Covid just tick the box that says she has symptoms. No one checks anyway.

Definitely lie, hope she's ok and feeling better soon

Lie! I had to lie to get a test and glad I did as I was positive
