It’ll pass. Labour have said they’ll support it. There will be some backbenchers who vote against it because they don’t agree to another lockdown, but they’ll get the numbers it needs to pass.

Unlikely. Someone would have to table an amendment and no-one’s showing any appetite for that at the moment. Labour are generally more in favour of lockdown than Conservatives.

As others have said, Labour are in favour of listening to the science and they therefore support containment measures.

Perhaps the more right wing anti containment MPs will defect to Nigel Farage's new Anti Lockdown party? When he sets it up. Presumably he's a bit too busy until after the US election. (He's currently in the US helping on the Trump campaign.)

Eh? Brexit took place months ago. The UK has left the European Union and we are just negotiating to see if we can negotiate a trade deal before the end of this year.

Chance of govt losing this is zero because they are implementing a policy that Keir Starmer proposed a few weeks ago and the Labour Party will certainly vote for.

I think there will be an embarrassing Tory rebellion though - Farage is obviously planning to capitalise on this with his new anti-lockdown party. I wonder if any Tory MPs will defect.

Karmer won't do a vote of no confidence because the government have an 80 seat majority. Even with unhappy Tory MPs, he'd lose.
