Just waiting for all of the above to start...

What reasons will be bandied about this time? And when will people realise that the more of us that do it, the quicker it will be over?

I very rarely leave the house. I never watch the news so I'm not sure what the rules are in the first place .

@Fizbosshoes

I'm wondering when people will start making up extra rules like last time
eg you could only exercise for an hour, or you had to stay within x miles of your house.

Some of these were rules in other countries but not in England. I remember a newspaper article about Gordon Ramsay (I'm not esp a fan of his) being outraged because he went on a bike ride that was more than an hour....Confused

It's already happened. Several frothing fuckwits today telling people they ought to be doing their exercise within walking distance of home.

Yes!

The telling people that popping out for a pint of milk is against the rules, will kill a thousand grannies and they should grate cheese into their tea!!

People making up the own rules have put us all back in the shit. They should hang their heads in shame but no, instead they bleat on about how it is not fair ....

Jeez - people step up to the mark and do your bit! Stop making excuses!

My dog is not good at Pilates, and she hasn't worked out how to poo in the loo, so yes I need to walk so she can poo. If she can do Pilates, she'll have her own Facebook page.

That’s alright that. Not very community spirited.

Another one who wants to do their own thing - bugger everyone else.

Do you genuinely believe that following the rules will "save Christmas" ?

I would prefer my school stayed open so I would like people to follow the rules please.

Is that better?

Yes, there is no rule about having to do your food shop alone, and there wasn't last time. There is no rule to say you can only goto the supermarket once a week. (Or even only once a day.)

There is no rule to say you have to exercise for only 1 hour, that you can't drive to the place you will do your exercise. There is and wasn't last time, a rule that says you can only exercise once a day.

If a shop that is open is selling something, you are allowed to buy it.

Oh yeah me too I was just pointing out the self appointed covid police are just as shitty as the rule breakers.

Gove has said the if cases don’t fall their maybe a lockdown extension. So I rather lockdown ended early December

So can we at least make an attempt to follow the rules please.

Is that better?

Nope. As far as I am concerned everyone else can also do whatever the fuck they want. Actually I'd say it's those that want to tell me what I can and can't do to "save" them, their granny, their Christmas and whatever else that are selfish and entitled. I mean, talk about "fuck everyone else and their mental health, I'm weak minded and easily taken in by propaganda and want everyone to follow the made up rules"

You know that saying "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me"?
Remember that initial three week lockdown? Grow up.

I mean what's your point because no you don't have to explain why if you're exempt. Do you disclose your medical history to everyone you come across?

Happily, I don't think I shall depend on you for anything. And my family have already decided that Christmas will be very private and small this year. I really don't care how you conduct your life, but I would prefer it if you'd stick to your close friends and family and keep me at arms length.
