Whilst mask wearing and social distancing should be in place in school, it looks like it’s not being advised at the moment. France have introduced masks for children over 6.
I read the article below and ventilation seems to be key so please teachers open the windows.
Encourage students to wear layers under their uniforms. It’s the only thing I think teachers have in their power to protect themselves and their students.
My daughter said her teachers close the windows as soon as someone says they’re cold.
Maybe head teachers need to make it clear windows will be open and advise all to be prepared.
