Is this any surprise really ? It's just like back in March. "It's just 3 weeks"

I think they will extend it. I think it’ll get to December and they’ll say the rates still haven’t come down enough and then they’ll start the Christmas holidays for the kids early. Some of the schools in my area are closing for Christmas early anyway. Mainly academies.

Our school will stay open till the bitter end next term if they can. We break up on the 18th December for Christmas so it's a case of getting through to that point..

I want part time schooling, to allow for distancing. Or failing that, permission to take my kids put and stay home. I'm happy for others to send theirs if they want to, but schools a major spreading site and I don't want to catch it tyvm.

I think the four week lockdown has been carefully timed to miss half term and be over before universities break up. If this lockdown is extended will students travelling home be deemed essential?

In March the PM said 12 weeks with 3 weekly reviews.
