Antibodies

What's the general scientific reckoning re antibodies once you have tested positive for Covid?
I have read lots of conflicting things online.
Once you have it are you generally immune to catching it for a while after or not as there are now different strains?
I guess no one knows exactly how long the antibodies may last after contracting Covid.
Does it depend on whether you were symptomatic or not?
I wonder if those working in care homes or hospitals for example know of colleagues who tested positive twice or is that rare and unheard of?
Thanks!
