Getting the bus

In Wales. Have been told we need to be back in the office after the Firebreak after having worked from home since March. It will mean having to catch the bus everyday. I haven't caught public transport since March. Does it feel safe? Is it safe? I don't have any choice anyway and I am hoping I am just being more anxious about Covid than I need to be.

Buses have limited numbers for social distancing and the Windows should be open. Wear your mask and wash your hands. If you have to go to work you have to go!

Buses are quieter where I live, less people allowed on them or distancing. Masks and sanitiser when I get on and off. Cleanest I’ve seen them.

Where I live in Surrey the buses are running empty or just 1 or 2 people at most.

I've been getting buses since June, where I live, they're technically London buses. I've felt perfectly safe.

My daughter gets the bus and where we live I’d say they’re as busy as pre Covid. Also she’s told me people sit next to her when there’s not enough seats to social distance 😩😡

I started using the buses again in September after I came off furlough. Feels very safe round here, markings where you can or can’t sit, limited numbers etc. First buses also have an app so you can see how full buses currently are. One thing to bear in mind if you’re further along a route I’d that they may not stop if they’ve reached maximum capacity.
