Does anyone know how long it takes to notify after being near a positive case?

I was in the office Monday with someone who got a positive test results last night, my phone will have been within the distance and we both have the app. It hasn’t gone off yet but I was wondering if anybody has had this experience and how long it takes.

The other person gets a code from T&T that they need to input into the app before it notifies anyone. If T&T are slow then the code will be input late and that will delay notifications to others
