Make compliance in NI

Having spent a week back in Scotland for the Oct holidays, I’ve noticed a stark difference in mask wearing adherence between Scotland and NI.
The compliance where we were in Scotland (where figures are very low) was almost 100% whereas where we live in NI (which has very high figures) mask compliance is generally much lower.

Fucking fed up with much of the attitude in Norn Iron tbh. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not tarring everyone with the same brush, but there’s a LOT more conspiracy theorist type views being aired there and a consistent lack of leadership and example shown by elected officials.

Not looking forward to sending my son back on Monday, he’s already had to self isolate due to 2 cases in this class. Fearing their return and wishing I lived back in Scotland at the moment.

Title should have read ‘mask’. That’ll teach me to proof read before posting!

You are completely right. My brother was in NI during the summer (living in Southern Ireland) for a few days holidays. He couldn’t get home quickly enough. Said zero social distancing, low mask wearing, people everywhere. We weren’t surprised when cases rocketed up. It’s so odd as compliance is so much better the further south you go.

It’s getting intolerable in NI at the moment and I’m so annoyed. I’m dreading going back to it.
