If a child has to isolate

So if a child has to isolate, either they have been in contact with someone with Covid or could have been, does that mean that child can not visit the other parent if parents are separated?

For example, dad normally has child every other weekend, can the child still go? Sorry if this is obvious but I genuinely don't understand.

There has been no guidance on this! Obviously the safest option for the parent not yet affected is to not move houses, but you'll have to make a (joint) decision on that one.

The single parents organisation, Gingerbread, says that it is seeking clarification on this and related issues.

There are a few threads already about this, either on the Coronavirus or the Lone Parents boards. A couple had SDD or SDS in the title iirc.

Ah ok, I couldn't find any other threads on it I'll have a look
