Going back to work in covid

Hi and greetings to you all. As the title says I am freaking out as going back end of December. I work in a health care setting on a van scanning people and I can't stop worrying about going back to work. I was shielding earlier due to me having an underlying medical condition but obviously not shielding again but being very careful. I can't help but freak out as I have lost so many due to covid.

The thought of going back in December is driving me nuts especially with the covid situation. I've had a whole year maternity then annual leave. I just hope and pray things are better in December with covid.
Sorry no point to the post... Not sure what I want out of it

This may be better placed on a covid board rather than in money matters. It doesn't sound like your concern is financial? If you have concerns though I would definitely speak to your boss, ask for reassurance of the measures in place etc.

I placed it here by mistake and cannot take it off

Have you spoken to your employer about the set up at the moment. It should be covid secure with plenty of ppe available. You don't say if its nhs or not. Rules in nhs are surgical masks at all times for staff so your colleagues should be wearing them and distancing where possible. Its much better now than it was in March/April.

Can you visit work van to see how they are managing it at the moment, you may feel happier once you have seen what actions they are taking at present.
