Of course it will end. All pandemics do.

CoffeeInAnIV · 24/10/2020 19:22

It'll end. Not soon but it will end.

OpheliasCrayon · 24/10/2020 19:23

Course it'll end.

Bittersweet12 · 24/10/2020 19:49

Of course it will end! Every single pandemic has ended.

Back to how it was before the pandemic hopefully.

Better ? Worse? Who knows. I'm not fussed - honestly this isn't a situation we can control so there's no point really wondering .

onedayinthefuture · 24/10/2020 20:31

So Glastonbury 2021 is still scheduled to go ahead, West End to open 2021..... I really hope so!!

Rabbitholebonkers · 24/10/2020 20:44

I think it will be a grim winter and we will get a vaccine some time in 2021. Initially rolled out to the vulnerable and healthcare workers etc.
I think from then on it will be a slow return to normality. We are approaching the first winter of unknowns, after this, things will get easier.

Obviously the above is just my personal view on what will happen.

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 24/10/2020 20:45

Of course we’ll be able to hug people and mix households again. Surely if this carries on indefinitely a lot of people will do it anyway. We can’t stay away from other people indefinitely.

TheGreatWave · 24/10/2020 20:48

Once Brexit bites, this will seem like a walk in the park.

PetitFours · 24/10/2020 22:27

Yes, it'll end.

The world will look very much as it does now, albeit the economy will tank spectacularly with unemployment at levels not seen in anyone's lifetime, if ever.

RedRiverShore · 24/10/2020 22:30

It will probably drag on for a couple of years or so then fizzle out. Then there will most likely be something else

caringcarer · 25/10/2020 00:49

I actually think we will have to learn to live with it, just like we do with the flu. I think once we get a vaccine that will make it more manageable but I think it is here permanently. We all travel across the world. Poor countries may not be able to afford vaccines. The flu kills between 7 and 21 thousand people every year. In time we may be able to.manage and contain Covid 19 in the same way. I wish it were different.
