Isolation and Single Parent

Friend is a single parent who has been told DC has to isolate after being in close contact with a positive case at nursery.

Obv it is just DC who needs to isolate as per rules but they are 2 and therefore friend is isolating as well.

DC spends every other weekend with his Dad. Dad is asking for contact this weekend as per norm - is this allowed? I can see info around support bubbles but none if you have been told to isolate for contact - to be clear, no symptoms whatsoever.

If anyone has links to legislation or guidance that would be amazing as I can't find anything on this specific issue - which must be something many families are experiencing!

Well it would hardly be isolating. Probably best not to go.
