Bubbles across tiers

My dm is in an area likely to be moving to tier 3 later this week. She lives alone and is bubbled with us. We're in tier 1 less than an hour's drive away. I'm guessing we'd still be able to visit her despite travel restrictions?

I read something along the lines that if you mix tiers, you have to adhere to the restrictions of the higher tier.

It's all such a load of bollocks.

You are bubbled, and providing care so it is fine imo. I think you need to adhere to T3 rules when you are in T1.

Yes that’s fine you can visit her but you have to stick to T3 rules if you mix areas though. So even when you are back in your T1 area you need to stick to the T3 rules.

@Racoonworld Where does it say that, and I mean officially....

I’m in this situation where my partner (bubble) is in a different county and I looked into this and the only thing I could see was that the gov would “prefer” folk to not bubble with people too far away or different tiers..... I saw no other guidance!
