Track and Trace

My DH has tested positive for Covid and a friend dropped some shopping after his positive test for me on Friday.
She had a notification from track and trace yesterday evening from track and trace with a notification for possible exposure.
That couldn’t have been him could it ?
She stood at the door for a few moments and this was hours before his positive result came through. He hasn’t given track and trace her details as she didn’t come close etc
Any thoughts ?

Sorry that’s not clear -
She dropped shopping Friday before test came in later that afternoon.
Sleep deprived here Blush

If both he and friend have got the app, then yes, it’s likely the system is working and friend has got the notification. As I understand it, she may get another notification to say if she has to isolate and for how long, if not she can carry on as normal.

It seems so harsh on her for kindly dropping me some shopping and not breaking any rules if that’s the case - I don’t think I date ask for shopping bits in that case if people offer 😔

From talking to friends who have had potential exposure notifications it hadn't led to any isolation. I think it is just to let you know you have been near a case so be extra vigilant for symptoms in yourself. You are only asked to isolate if its over 15 minutes at less than 2 m (or a longer time period at a greater distance). So unless your friend was there for ages there is no risk of her having to isolate.
