Flu vaccinations in schools

The school I work at have scheduled the flu vaccinations for the children in December 2020. In relation to the current situation is anyone vaccinating their children?

Yes, 3 year old had his last week at GP

90% of my class had it done on Thursday. I had mine on the Wednesday.

My secondary schooler had theirs a week ago my two primary will have it next month. Dh gets his privately at work because of the type of work it is.

TBH I don’t normally bother but I have put my youngest children forward for the vaccinations this year. My older child is a teenager, too old for the nasal spray and too young for the injection.

Age 2-17 can have either the nasal spray or injection. It’s injection only for under 2s. If not eligible on the NHS it’s the same if you go privately.

This is my current job going into schools and administering the nasal flu spray.
We have had a higher intake this year from parents. The vaccines are scheduled between September and December. December is late though so if you have an asthmatic child get them vaccinated at the GP.

My DS had his in school last Thursday (nasal spray), younger DS had his at the GP surgery a couple of weeks ago. DH and I are both getting the vaccination on Thursday. We get it every year.

DD already had hers at school, hoping I’ll get mine via work soon

My youngest DC had it at school this week, I'm going to try get it if I can I have asthma.
