What counts as my support bubble?

Sorry if this has been done to death already, did try to look for other threads which might help and scoured detail online but just none the wiser. Trying to figure out what is classed as my support bubble when tier two starts in my region tomorrow. Is it the one I'm currently in with my partner who lives in his own home? Or is it the one with my dc's dad with whom I share care of our dc? ExP never comes in just does pick up/drop off at the front door but partner does stay over regularly. If I'm only allowed a support bubble with one other household though which is it? Is ExP not counted as a bubble? Any clue mumsnetters?

I think your bubble is with your partner.

The EXp contact is primarily to protect the DCs rights re family life ( so seeing their DF).

I have to say I haven’t checked the legislation recently though.

This article is from when the bubbles concept came in and seems to advise that the contact with Ex P does not constitute a bubble. So your bubble is with your partner

Ooh thank you @littlestpogo. That's a really helpful article and helps clear it up. I'm presuming that still stands, can't find anything to the contrary. Thank you! :)

Yes I also assume it still stands ( single parent here too although sadly no new partner for me to bubble with Grin)

Oh I'm sorry if you're missing a partner bubble. But I'm not pretending there wasn't a little part of me hoping partner wasn't counted as a bubble so I could get my weekends back Grin.
