My DS started with symptoms a week last Tuesday (6th) and so needs to isolate for 10 days while the rest of us do 14.
He was at college on the Tuesday and began with symptoms around tea time. So symptoms began Tuesday and first day of full isolation was Wednesday.
Is he allowed out today or tomorrow?
Guidance seems to say the first day of isolation is the day symptoms start ie, Tuesday, but would that not mean he had only isolated for nine days if Wednesday was the first day of isolation?
