How to count isolation period?

So I had a test on Monday which was positive ( no symptoms) so I’m isolating for 10 days. Is my first day of being allowed out next Thursday or Friday? Unsure if Monday counts as day 1?!

I would count Monday as Day 1.

Official guidelines is count the day of the test as day 1 if no symptoms or count the first day if symptoms as day one , if you then tested positive
