Joe Anderson is quoted in this morning's Echo as saying the city is reviewing the half term holiday and considering extending it by a week. Which under the circumstances is probably not the worst idea in the world.
I think we may have others following suit if they do - particularly north west councils which delayed primaries reopening in June.
