DS is at uni and had a test on Sunday. Test required as he had had contact with 3 people who had tested positive. Whole flat Of 7/8 tested. Half of the people in his flat had their results and are negative. DS and a few others haven’t had results yet. They’ve been told it can take up to five days.
This isn’t a recent thing. It’s been an issue for over six months. We are on the verge of another lockdown. Cases are rising.
Why the bloody hell is the testing system still so shit?
I’m not worried for DS particularly. He’s fine.
But it’s just so bloody ridiculous.
He’s not even at a uni with masses of cases. It’s madness!
How on earth can we deal with this if the testing system can’t cope now? And why can’t it cope? World beating my bloody big arse!
I’m not even sure why I’m posting. Just wanted to vent I suppose.
We are totally screwed with the current situation. Every which way.
Lockdown helped but they just totally wasted it. Wasted the goodwill. Wasted the time. Wasted the breathing space. Here we are now coming into winter and it’s as if it’s a totally new thing.
