Hi,

I have one child home due to a case in her school class and another one home due to a case in her dance class. I suffer with anxiety at times so believe I'm probably suffering quite a bit now.
Do asymptomatic people in particular children pass it on?
I've woken up this morning feeling a bit run down with blocked nose and ears and so now I'm panicking thinking is it the start of covid for me. Does it sound like the start or more of a cold? I'm extremely stressed worrying about if either of the girls have caught it and worry they will pass it to me and hubby. The girls have had no symptoms themselves so far.

I know of an asymptomatic 7 year old who tested positive and didn't pass it to either of her parents. Infact all the people I know who have had it haven't given it to anyone else

Try not to worry OP DS and I had direct contact with somebody asymptotic, DS has same symptoms as you but only lasted 2 days and he’s been fine since. We couldn’t test him as he didn’t have the main symptoms so may well just have been a cold.

No one can tell you if you have covid or a cold.

And yes asymptomatic people can pass it on. They can also not pass it on.

Thanks Jrobhatch29 that is a little more reassuring. If you don't mind me asking how did they get a test if they were asymptomatic?
HeyMacarona thanks, I wouldn't be able to get a test at the moment which is why I'm worrying more because heard some people say it's just like a cold.
evenmoreforthemoor I know no one can tell me I was trying to find out if asymptomatic tend to pass it on so I knew whether it might be the start of it or it's just anxiety related.

The two girls were isolating as they had been in contact with a positive case at their swimming club. The older one developed symptoms, so they all had a test. The two girls were positive but the younger one never had symptoms

I know a woman who was symptomatic and so was working. She has a job that means being in contact with lots of people and she didn’t pass it on to any of them.

Thanks Jrobhatch29 and QueenofmyPrinces
I'm stopping in with the girls so wont be going anywhere if it's more than a cold.
