Anyone had a test this week? Have you had result yet?

I had a test 8am on Monday at a drive through testing centre - was told 23-48hours for the result when there. Still nothing! I’m 99% sure my cough was a result of a cold and it’s gone now, but obviously need to wait for the result. Stuck at home trying to work and homeschool the kids again

@Etotheipiplus1equals0 I always tell people up to 72 hours then ring the number on the receipt card if no results. I don't know why some staff say 24h still, it gets people's hopes up and it's completely unknown to us on the sites.

Test Tuesday morning, result today. Negative.

When I went to Guildford in July we had the results in 11 hours. I remember being really impressed!

She I rang up they said they will not chase them up unless it is 5 days now!!

Son had one Tuesday evening at 7pm at a walk in centre and we had the result this morning at 8:30am

Most recently 74 hours south east

@Sunshinegirl82 I had a test at a drive thru and I got mine back in 11 hours. My friend who had a test in a different city on the same day waited over 30 hours. I wish we'd get more info so I could tell people how long they need to wait. Some people are very angry about it and it's understandable if you have to isolate without pay. I've had to do it twice now!

Husband had test (North West) at 8.30am on Weds morning. result back at 11pm on Thursday night (negative thankfully)

So 38 hours approx

That’s been 46 hours so far here and no result. This really is a joke, completely unacceptable for it to take this long.

I'm still waiting 120 hours later!! Is there a way to complain? 119 are as useless as a chocolate tea pot. I need to go back to work Monday!! Any advice?

So dd was tested Thursday morning at stansted and we had her (negative) result through at 7.30am this morning. Within the 48hrs we were told at the time of testing.

It definitely seems to be regional.

We waited 58 hours in the end, with a (negative thankfully) result coming in the night via email... but no text yet? Strange

@Dickorydockwhatthe have you got through to 119? I called them at 49 hour mark and they escalated it to the ‘delayed response’ team and we had the result 9 hours later

Yes I've rang them 4 times as my sons came within 24 hours and they were tested the same time. They said they won't chase it unless 5 days!

It's been 52 hours since we had our daughter tested...

I had a test on Tuesday and was told 3-4 days, but it actually came (negative) in 48 hours. In the Midlands.

Tested on Wednesday evening, result this morning.

Yes! Took about 46 hours so not amazing but it could have been worse!

Test @ 3pm on Saturday (drive through). Result @ 6pm on Sunday.
