Anyone had a test this week? Have you had result yet?

I had a test 8am on Monday at a drive through testing centre - was told 23-48hours for the result when there. Still nothing! I’m 99% sure my cough was a result of a cold and it’s gone now, but obviously need to wait for the result. Stuck at home trying to work and homeschool the kids again

Got my results at 2am so 62 hours altogether

My results just came through.

Just got a negative result for DS woohoo- 70 hours in total

We've just booked in for tests this morning in the SE. Previous test results from this centre came back in about 11 hours so I was hoping for similar but seems like I might be hoping in vain! I was keeping everything crossed that DS1 might only miss one day of school.

Postal test posted back Monday. Still waiting!

Negative results through at 6:30am so around 44 hours from test to result, midlands

NE. Test 11.45am Tuesday. Result 9.30pm Wednesday, so just under 36 hours. I was expecting a lot longer. The sample box was full to the top when mine went in.

Results here too this morning - about 72 hours.

I had a test for work purposes over a week ago and still no result !!

Husband had his test last week at Guildford. We never received the results and he was told to retest.
My son and I were tested Monday at Guildford ahead of surgery today. We haven't received our results.

About 48 hours for mine from Tues morning - I’d braced myself for worse but it’s still too slow. It should be within 24 hours like NI manages to do so that people are more inclined to comply.

Postal test sent back Friday. Still no result.

Dd got positive result back within 24 hours. We are still waiting 40 hours after ours so hoping ours are negative. Scotland via drive thru test.

Dd had hers 11am sunday and we didnt get the results till nearly 4pm the tues. We were pretty certain it was positive but obviously we couldn't go to work until we had a negative. We were also told 24 to 48 hrs.

But who knows with us as our test was arranged via the hospital

Dd had a test Friday morning, negative result on Sunday morning.
Her year bubble has now closed due to a positive test, was advised she has another test due to symptoms, waiting now. She had it yesterday morning. I expect tomorrow

Was it positive? I was convinced ds was but turned out negative.

Test centre have said 24-72 hours for results just now so fingers crossed we'll be back up and running for Monday at the latest assuming all negative.

I tested Tuesday morning. Got my test back at 1am this morning and it's negative.

We’ve just tested at stansted and been told within 48hrs.

It’s the second test for dd (I swear she’s never been this prone to a cough before!), the last one she had was a home test and tbh most of the time was faffing about with deliveries. The actual test result came back pretty quick (posted Tuesday evening and we had the results early hours Thursday) so I’m hoping the drive through one is roughly the same.

73 hours for a positive result here in the North West.

I posted a home test on Monday morning and got the result yesterday at 6pm :)

Got tested on Tue at 4pm using home kit, sent it back staring away. Hope to get the results back tomorrow morning. My employer keeps pestering me - I work in a school - but what can I do? (( I am 99% sure it was just a cold, they asked me to test which I did and now they are p*ssed off with me that it’s taking ages! ((

Interestingly a friend had a Covid test at a local walk in centre at about the same time as me and they got their result in less than half the time I did.
