Anyone had a test this week? Have you had result yet?

I had a test 8am on Monday at a drive through testing centre - was told 23-48hours for the result when there. Still nothing! I’m 99% sure my cough was a result of a cold and it’s gone now, but obviously need to wait for the result. Stuck at home trying to work and homeschool the kids again

Yep both ds's got tested Monday am at same time in the South West. Got one negative result through for ds yesterday at 5ish and he's still coughing loads but still having to wait for ds 2 who now seems absolutely fine. Work are being funny because they can't understand why I've only got one result back, I told them I don't understand either!!

We had our test at 6pm on Monday and got the results lunch-time ish today

I'm London/Hertfordshire. I tested yesterday at 9am and nothing yet. I'm not showing any symptoms at all now and I also have healthy kids who aren't happy. It would be so much better if results were within 24 hours. The impact it has on people's lives is awful. My DS is unable to go to work and has had to take unpaid leave.

London/Surrey and Monday morning test with no result yet.

@looloo247 that’s good to hear, dd tested this morning in the same area so hopefully we won’t have to wait too long!

Greenwich on Monday morning and still nothing here. We were told 48 hours which was frustrating enough after the promises earlier in the summer that results would be turned around in 24 hours but at this rate we’re going to have to cancel some pretty important appointments for the next couple of days!

Tested Saturday morning at drive through - results received lunchtime Tuesday. This is much slower than previous tests I have had (about 12 hours).

I agree they really need a quicker turnaround it has an enormous impact on everyone. And if positive so many people may have already become infectious.

54 hours so far in the south east - these waiting times are absolutely ridiculous

East York’s here, tested 9am yesterday. No result yet. Loads of testing slots. About four cars in a HUGE drive through. Mind you, between myself and the kids we’ve been a few times and I’ve never seen more than four cars there.

Yesterday morning- no results yet

North East.
Tested 2pm on Monday, received negative result 9.30am Tuesday.

In the East, tested 10.30 Monday for my son and I, one result today at lunch the other tonight at dinner.

South east and tested Monday lunchtime. Still no results, both kids at home, both husband and I trying to work from home in turns as children too young to be work around. Luckily work are completely understanding but the turnaround time really needs to be quicker.

DD's arrived earlier this evening. We are in the SE and waited 50 hours

teen tested Monday morning....told 48 hours.....still waiting.....
they are loads better & v frustrated I won't let them out til the result comes 😂

West London, DS was tested at 9am on Monday, still nothing. We’re all very fed up now.

So frustrating as I will have to cancel work from tomorrow if it doesn’t come back first thing.

Just got results through about 20 minutes ago, test was 10.30am on Monday in Suffolk. Thank the stars DS can go to preschool in the morning!

Son had a test Sunday mid morning at a drive through, results back about 52 hours later. We’re in London.

Finally got my result about an hour ago- negative! About 60 hours in the end. Though my son had a test 26 hours after me at same place but got the result only 1 hour later.

DH tested today at 1.30pm. Told 24-42 hours for result.
We are in the SE.
Back to working from home with a toddler tomorrow 😰

DS was tested at 8:30 yesterday, nothing yet. In the SE. Praying for results in the morning so the DCs can go back to nursery, we're in hell trying to both work while they run wild as only 4 and 19 months!
