Work not keeping things Covid secure

My co-worker’s husband has Covid symptoms and is waiting for test results. Our boss has said the co-worker can continue to come to work as normal (in close contact with others) unless her husband tests positive. They don’t want her off because she manages a department and getting cover would be difficult and expensive for them.

I am so shocked that a number of managers have all okayed this and made this decision (and despite people complaining they have said they’re right!) ShockHmm

I was under the impression the whole family needs to isolate until a negative result. Is that still the rule or have I missed an update on this?

That’s still the rule and I’m pretty sure that not following it is breaking the law...

Agreed, the whole family should isolate until his results come back.

That's really silly of them.
