Covid Test Results

Does anyone know whether the test results come through 24 hours a day? Or is it a 9 to 5 thing?

My son got his at 6am so no not just 9-5

My friend got her DDs at 3am

I am possibly going to die waiting. Of boredom, not Covid. Hopefully get a 3am text!!

I got mine at 9pm this evening, I was told it can be anytime!

Still nothing, nearly 48 hours now!

I think this question should have its own pinned thread, I see the same question about 3 times every day and the same answers

It totally depends, there is no answer

Mine came through at midnight.

Mine was a home test, posted 5pm Friday and received results yesterday at 9pm. I was told they won’t escalate until 5 days have elapsed.

Omg, posted my test Tuesday, am better now 2 days later, we are all going stir crazy, still no results.

Just wanted to add, just received my test and it’s negative, done a postal test and it was sent Tuesday afternoon, received at the lab early wed morning, got results Friday evening 7.30.

Had test done as had a cold and then developed tickly throat and cough, no temp, no other symptons. Work in a school, 2 kids at school so needed to know I was safe.

I got mine 7 days later at 2am!

Got confirmation today (5 days later) that there is no record of mine on the system...

Tested at 11am. Results came at 1am. Surprised how quick it was!
