Tier 2 and very high question

I live in a tier 2 area and my mum lives in an area that has just been put into very high.
She lives alone and is usually in my support bubble.

With the new guidelines am I still able to meet her maybe in a cafe, shopping centre or can she come to my home?

I’m pretty sure Boris said yesterday that support bubbles still stand, so she could come to you?

If support bubbles still stand, then you can regard her as part of your household.

They don't make it easy, do they? I finally found the general guidelines for "very high" here. It says "You must not meet socially with friends and family indoors in any setting unless they are part of your household or support bubble."

You also have to adhere to any special restrictions in your area, but the only "very high" listed is Liverpool and surrounding areas, and the special restrictions relate only to what business can open.

So I would take that as meaning you can continue to meet with your mum as if you were the same household.

But look carefully at the support bubble rules - "usually in my support bubble" is not a concept that is included - the support bubble once made cannot be changed.

Thanks Smile I have finally managed to get hold of the new guidelines in her area and it says what you say x so will keep her in my bubble, and that way hopefully this will be ok x
