When do the new rules start?

Does anyone know if it is tonight at midnight or tomorrow night at midnight?

Sons birthday tomorrow and not sure if Grandma can visit.

All the papers just keep stating the rules but I can't find when they come into force?

Does it matter?

The 'risk' will be the same either way, and no one will know/care anyway - unless you open all the windows and yell 'Grandma's here! Call the cops!'.

DH is a very strict rule follower!

I have found it now anyway! Starts 0.01 am Wednesday so from tonight.
