Is there anyone who lives in France know the guidelines for funerals at the moment please.

I have looked online but can not find any up to date guidelines only from July time. DH aunt is currently in hospital dying (will be any day now.)

There's no current limit, but the undertaker's or the crematorium may limit numbers in order to be able to work safely.

Also, Macron is finally going to speak tomorrow, so we are expecting some new measures. I'll try to remember to post again, but if not send me a DM.

Of course, you have to quarantine still at both ends if you travel from UK to France and back.

Thank you. What is the current quarantine for arriving in France? We are travelling to Marseille.

You don't have to quarantine in France if you are coming from the UK. Although this may change tomorrow when Macron speaks.

Gatherings of more than 10 in public are prohibited, but there is an exception for funerals (although this is the guidance for high alert zones. It may well be stricter in Marseille which is a critical zone.
