Daughter is 7 she has a full 1-1 by the council at school. She has not returned to school yet as CEV and the hospital think it’s for the best if she stays at home for the time being !
Issue is her 1-1 comes to the house 2 hours in the afternoon to do school work which was the agreement of being allowed to keep her off school with education.
Would you still allowed her in the house ? We are not yet tier 2 however will be there shortly.

Haven't watched any news today, but we have been under 'greater restrictions' for some weeks. People have been allowed to enter your house if it is for work. However if your dd is vulnerable, I would probably prefer for the tutoring to switch to zoom for a while, otherwise the tutor going from one pupil to another is going to make your home almost as risky as going in to school.

The tutors I know won't visit homes or can't.
They moved online from March and there they remain.
All subjects inc academic and practical subjects.

Switch to Zoom, it is the safest way

If she has an ehcp then yes she can. The real question is if you wish for her to? Can she wear a mask and sit in an area that doesn't involve traipsing through the house? Garden on warmer days or if you have patio heater?

My son's tutor has emailed out today to say she can still complete 1 to 1 sessions but will switch to zoom if preferred. My son has no medical issues so will continue face to face if he can, but I'd probably switch him if he was medically vulnerable. We're tier 3.
